Step-by-Step Guide (Cast from Phone Browser – Works on iPhone/Android)

1. Get the link and connect to Wi-Fi:

• Send them the IBM Video live stream URL (e.g., from your event dashboard).

• Make sure their phone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network (double-check in phone settings > Wi-Fi).

 

1. Open the stream on your phone:

• On iPhone: Use Safari (or Chrome). Paste the link and hit play—the video auto-plays in the browser.

• On Android: Use Chrome. Paste and play.

• (Pro tip: If there's an IBM Video app, use it for better quality, but browser works fine for quick setup.)

 

1. Cast to the TV:

• iPhone to Apple TV/AirPlay TVs (e.g., Samsung/LG): Swipe down from top-right (Control Center) > Tap the screen-mirroring icon (rectangle with triangle) > Select your TV > Enter AirPlay code if prompted. The whole screen (with video) mirrors to TV.

• Android to Chromecast/Android TV/Roku: Tap the cast icon in Chrome (rectangle with Wi-Fi waves, top-right) > Choose your TV/device > It casts just the video tab.
